Apartment Managers Group

The Apartment Manager’s Group is a partnership between the Neighborhood Police Officer Unit of the Garland Police Department and local apartment managers so the apartment managers across the City of Garland have a forum in which they may identify, discuss, and address issues and events affecting apartment communities.

Citizens on Patrol (C.O.P.)

The Garland Police Department’s Citizens On Patrol (C.O.P.) program is an extension of the Neighborhood Crime Watch program and provides an opportunity for citizens to take an active role in crime prevention in their neighborhood.

Gang investigations are conducted by Neighborhood Police Officers (NPO's) with a goal of reducing street-level gang crimes.

The Neighborhood Crime Watch Program is a program to reduce the number of residential burglaries and criminal activity in the neighborhood through citizen involvement.

The Garland Police Department’s residential lockbox program is designed to expedite access to senior adults in their own homes during medical or other emergencies.

UNIDOS

UNIDOS is a Hispanic community outreach program designed to provide assistance to Spanish speaking residents in the Garland area.
