The Criminal Investigations Division (CID) of the Garland Police Department is responsible for the detection and investigation of criminal offenses, for the collection and examination of evidence, and for the successful prosecution of crimes committed in the City of Garland.
Specific Areas of Investigation
Commonly referred to as CID, the division is comprised of both sworn and civilian personnel. These individuals are dedicated professionals trained to address specific issues that affect the lives of the citizens in our community.
