Titled "Music That Grows on You", the Garland Symphony Orchestra's 2022-2023 concert season will highlight music inspired by nature’s flora – plants, trees, and flowers. Featuring works such as Smetana’s “From Bohemia’s Forests and Meadows”, Wagner’s “Forest Murmurs”, and Respighi’s “Pines of Rome”, the eight concerts of the subscription season will explore how the great composers communicated their love of the botanical world through their music.
